This month the wrap is short and sweet (and better late than never!) cos I have a few pics (for a change) which I will let do the talking!
It was a chilly morning and our first real taste of winter. We had so many heats and finals it wasn’t even funny! We were very lucky to get the comp over before the howling southerly turned Bondi in to a choppy mess. Great to see tonnes of girls trekking down to Bondi each month and battling the elements, each other and the crowds!

A few comments from BGSR’s about the day:
Caire said “I am a little biased… but it did make me smile to see Anna Sordo carving it up in her heat and making it through to the finals! But she also gets my vote for being an egg.” Well Claire- check out the photo gallery, cos I think there might be some photographic evidence that you are BOTH eggs!
Natasha’s thoughts were that “the conditions were difficult and testing and it was wonderful to see the advanced final and how well the contestants surfed it, they were all really inspirational.”
Kim was thoroughly impressed by the juniors saying “juniors rocked it! New member Kara showed great style and Camille, well she just gets better now she is surfing with the Intermediate girls.” I couldn’t agree more Kim! Those junior girls are all little rippers!
